Design And Implementation Of Course Selection System In Vocational College Based On B/S Pattern

At present, colleges and universities in our country have established course selection system for their own students. The teachers can post related courses in this system by the administrators. The students can choose the interested courses according their time arrangement. But most this kind of system still relies on manual operation, which not only waste time but also takes pains. Our work aims to establish a student course selection system in Luoding polytechnic according to its actual situation in order to improve teaching work efficiently.This system is mainly divided into two parts and three modules. The two parts are the interface development and design and database design and development and the three modules are student module, teacher module and administrator module. Each module is linked through the backstage database and independent from each other. In this thesis, by fully integrating course selection mode and relevant technical data of the current higher vocational colleges, a network system was built based on B/S, which can operate by PC browser. Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2010 was used as system development tool. It established related system operation interface and writing code. The background database is Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database management system. In this thesis, the demand analysis was conducted and the related technologies were introduced and analyzed combined with the mature and advanced system development tools, and selected the appropriate development tools. Interface was designed according to the requirements of humanization.User can use a clear and concise interface and could soon learn how to use it. Code compiling is the core of the whole process of system development, which must be as simple and clear as possible, thus cost less system resources to prevent system paralyzed in the use of the peak. The specified database design was developed strictly in accordance with the renewal of analysis of the data sheet so as to prevent the occurrence of data loss and other issues in the process of working. This system can facilitate users and make the data update rapidly.
