Research On The UML Based Public Selective Courses Management System And Its Application

With the Internet's development, Web-based course selection system can, so that students can.at any place, any time for elective, therefore, Web-based Elective Course Management System R & D work is causing a high degree of attention at home and abroad. As the practical application of Web-based Elective Course Management System's time is not long, there are still many inadequacies on elective course in how to ensure fair, just, reasonable, and system efficiency, stable operation and so, This paper as the backing of Hengyang Normal University, Studied and implemented a web-based efficient public elective course management system. Practice has shown that the most effective method is to adopt the Object-oriented UML modeling technique.UML is a standardized language that draws blueprint of software. It visualizes,describes in details,constitutes and documents the Products of intensive system.It can describe various views that development process needs,based on which system is assembled. And UML provides different participants with the mechanism of availably sharing and communicating designing achievement. Besides,Object-oriented modeling technique can effectively control complexity and adapt varieties.It possesses highly flexibility and reusability with low risk,which increases the efficiency of development system. So the Object-oriented development method of UML is inevitable.The major work done the following:First of all, researching the development of UML technology at home and abroad and the use of elective course management system in college, and then by combining with the basic situation of Hengyang normal university, a program of UML-based Hengyang normal university public selective course management system Design is proposed.Second, based on technical characteristics of UML, and by using UML techniques, the model of demand for Hengyang normal university selective courses in public management system is designed, and based on which, the general design of the system is conducted. Then, on the basis of software architecture, software components have been studied, and a dynamic tree directory structure algorithm is proposed, and a model that can protect the fairness of selective course selection is designed at the same time.Finally, based on the newly proposed system architecture,algorithms and models to achieve a R&D of UML-based selective course management system, furthermore,the performance of the related system is analyzied. And the value of new method is proved theoretically and practically through practices.
