In order to better support the development of IPTV and other business in Ningxia, to enhance user awareness, development and construction of DHCP system has become an urgent demand. This paper mainly from the following several aspects to discuss and research.First of all, this paper expounds the construction background of Ningxia Telecom IPTV DHCP system, and focuses on the design of DHCP system from the system construction goal, software project, system function, system platform design, until the design and implementation of IPTV DHCP system is suitable for the current user scale of Ningxia.Ningxia Telecom DHCP system is divided into network layer and service layer, network layer is composed of access switches and routers, and the service layer is divided into the management center and the address distribution center. Management center provides a unified management, monitoring and maintenance, Ningxia Telecom IPTV DHCP system set up a management center, to provide a unified management of the province’s IPTV business. The address distribution center is made up of protocol analysis server and address allocation server. Protocol analysis server is mainly implemented with SR communication.
