Design And Implementation Of Customizable WEB Query System

With the development of information technology, new systems and new applications are emerging. In these systems, the data query is the most commonly used function of information systems. How to provide a better user-friendly query interface to improve user experience is often faced in the development of these systems.Typically query functions, especially query conditions, are hardcoded in the system under development. The query condition cannot be changed if the system is in operation. If the user requires to change the query, it will command the software change to meet the needs of users.To solve this problem, this thesis analyzes and studies the current situation of the development of the query systems, designs and implements a new type of customized Web query system in order to meeting users’change to query requirement without the software change.In the design and implementation of the system, this thesis makes full use of Object-Oriented ideas and methods. The system uses Java J2EE, JSON technology development, it runs on Windows and other operating system platforms, DB2, Oracle, SQL/Server, and other relational databases. User can modify the query criteria when system is running.Testing shows that the system can run stably in the production environment. Designing such a system can reduce the development costs and maintenance of Web query system, which features good flexibility, portability and easy to scale.
