In recent years, with constant increase in demand for freight logistics transportation, e-commerce emerges rapidly. Depending on gradual mature information management technology based on internet, the operation pattern and management mode of logistics enterprise have been changed. However, there is still the problem like lagging information technological means in railway goods year of Chinese inland cities and it is need for further improving the container-packing efficiency and utility rate.At present, the above two problems are hot issues for scientific and technological researchers. As to the former, the researchers are mainly exploring design of railway goods yard management information system based on RFID technology to avoid repeated labor and achieve the purpose of paperless working and intelligent management. It has two aspects of functions. The first aspect of function is to complete an automatic collection of the basic information in container station yard. Its second aspect of functions are to realize whole process monitoring, event retrospect, real-time pre-alarming and information search of goods in container station yard with multimodal transport and door-to-door transport and so on. As to the latter, researchers focus their mind on the study of loading methods of container based on a heuristic strategy and an intelligent optimization mechanism for improving the packing efficiency and utilization rate of the container, as can help enterprises to reduce cost and improve service quality. In the thesis, the study of above two problems is supposed by NSFC(NO: 61272294) and industrialization cultivation project in institution of higher learning of Hunan Province(NO: 15CY010) and main work and innovation are as follows:1. Aiming at insufficiencies of current railway freight information system, the model and framework of railway goods yard container information management system based on RFID is designed to realize functions including overall supervision, event retrospect, real-time pre-alarming, and information search for railway container station yard goods and so on. In addition, according to international standard ISO 10374, the network structure of system is designed to realize a transmission of identified information between RFIF of the container and reader and to form a data information center, which can access in time the container transportation center database within the extent of competence of the container transportation enterprise.2. The thesis presents a heuristic strategy of combining ordering with modified positioning rules and a heuristic search algorithm for 2-D rectangle packing problem based on some obtained packing knowledge and the known information. And optimal parameters of the algorithm are determined by the example test, its performance is analyzed. Compared with existing methods, the proposed algorithm can further improve the packing efficiency and utility rate of the circle container.Taking informatization and container packing problem of railway good yard of an inland city—Zhuzhou Bei as study background, the thesis makes researches on railway goods yard management informatization based on RFID and rectangle packing problem with balance restraints. The designed system and the proposed algorithm are excellent in performance. We hope that algorithm can provide references for engineering technical workers.
