With the continuous development of the Internet of things, combined with industry application characteristics of wireless sensor research projects in recent years, is constantly evolving. Railway low-power wireless sensors, the main purpose is to adapt to the needs of the rail industry in wireless monitoring. Railway application of wireless monitoring technology, compared to traditional wired monitoring its way, could not only reduce the line construction and maintenance costs; but may also ensure the safety and stable operation of the railway through the feature-- "intensive monitoring" of wireless sensor network.The article first analyzes the business background and industry applications of wireless sensor networks for railway applications. Then, start a discussion of the technology used in wireless sensor networking, and particular in node positioning. Furthermore, proposed the corresponding solution on the railway industry of wireless sensor networking. In design solutions based on independent research and development of a wireless sensor network architecture, which suitable of the "linear" & "high pressure" working situation, and complete system of hardware, software and protocol stack design. In the hardware design process, the design process of RF wireless sensor to analyze parameters were introduced some experience of RF design and simulation parameters. Ranging in terms of positioning, the design process along the railroad tracks ranged localization model based on the received signal strength intensity expounded emphatically in. Finally, the profile itself and the hardware design of wireless sensor nodes were tested. Then recorded the test results and make the analysis with them, to offer some improved ideas.Project specification requirements to achieve the development of the planned open question formulated in absorbing traditional wireless sensor design ideas, based on the proposed application of the characteristics of the industry with its own "ad-hoc" network solutions. Reached the purpose of designing a low cost, low power consumption, high reliability wireless sensor networking device. In wireless sensor positioning problem of the unknown node set along the railway line, the proposed high applicability of dispersion compensation models is provided. In addition, through flexible protocol mechanisms, such as:"link listening" and "Heartbeat package list," etc., to solve problem in linear wireless sensor networking of increasing power consumption and nodeenergy imbalances.
