Security operations of power system related to the stability of the national economy and people’s lives. For safe operation of the power system, the most effective way is to conduct monitoring of power system equipment timely. And temperature monitoring is one of the most important parameters of the power system to be monitored.Paper by using a SAW sensor which resonance frequency is according to its temperature condition, design a FPGA&ARM core-based wireless transceiver sweep device, as signal receiving and processing of SAW temperature senso.Wireless transceiver sweep device hardware structure mainly by FPGA and its peripheral circuit, ARM and its peripheral circuit, the transmit chain, the receive chain, antenna switch and so on. ARM and its peripheral circuits as the core of the system, which control the whole system by reading and writing the series of registers of the FPGA. The FPGA as the subject of this device, which make its internal FFT IP core to achieve complete baseband signal synthesis and analysis of the baseband signal. The Transmitter Link converts the analog signal into a digital baseband frequency signal to drive the temperature SAW sensor. The Received Link signal receive the reflected signals and convert it into a baseband. The Antenna Switch circuit is made the The Transmitter Link and The Received Link isolated or series signals switching.By using emulator of the Xilinx integrated development environment, we made the FPGA and its peripheral logic FFT transformation and inverse FFT simulatied respectively. Thus demonstrate the feasibility of the FFT FPGA implementation. Finally, the FPGA logic circuit emulation code, the echo signal and its frequency spectrum obtained SAW temperature sensors, the temperature obtained by the temperature sensor is a SAW frequency spectrum.
