With the rapid development of the Internet, the interaction between human and computer is becoming frequently. The basic element to success is usability with the method of the user of center design developing. Human always achieve information from word through vision, and one of the most important way to interaction is vision. Eye tracking can reflect the way of vision selecting, it is very important to show the process of cognition. Therefore, the eye tracking will help the usability of website. it can not only make up the shortage of the traditional usability testing, but also show the users’ characteristic, behavior and interest.As the traditional usability testing cannot test website systematically and objectively, this paper proposes a new method of usability of website based on eye tracking data. It has been proved by Baidu cloud testing. The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:1. Through a lot of reviews, this paper makes a detailed analysis of the website’s usability testing and eye movement. It summarizes the disadvantages of the current website usability and the advantages of eye tracking.2. Aiming at the shortage of traditional usability testing systematically, this paper proposes a new method of web usability testing, which is based on the advantages of eye movement and combined system usability scale and the analytic hierarchy process. The method evaluates the web usability from quantitative and qualitative by the experiment of Baidu cloud.3 Through the eye tracking instrument and the analysis software to collection and sorting the eye tracking data, which can discover the rule when user using website and the efficiency of visual search by analyzing every task. Using the analytic hierarchy process and SUS to evaluate the website, than average the two scores. Finally we can get a score and the situation of the website.
