According to the advent of4G era, the rapid development of mobile Internet is furtherenhancing the whole society dependence on smart handheld devices. Mobile devices, with itspowerful features and portability, have gradually become the most important media when peoplecommunicate with each other, the environment, or the objects, as well as complete various tasks.Nowadays, information overload and fragmentation becomes increasingly serious, how can theproduct allow users to efficiently complete tasks at the same time have a pleasant experience, ata reasonable, natural content and interactive features, become the core of the current competitionin the mobile device market.iOS, the mobile system of Apple Inc., has becoming one of the world’s most successfulmobile operating system, because of its excellent user experience. While continue to changingthe field of mobile devices rapidly, after the reform and improvement of multiple versions.In such a background, in the mobile device user behavior and user experience theory depthstudy, this paper summarized the constituents of usability to efficient and enjoyable, fromstrategic level, structure and presentation layers, on the basis of availability. And then, the paperintroduced a concept of interactive cost, including learning and cognition cost, time cost,emotion cost, to analysis the primary and secondary relationship between the elements ofusability. After that, this paper made a discusses about the usability of mobile device userexperience design from three aspects, the content (information content and features content), theform (product shape and software interface) and the behavior (interaction), combined with thetheoretical basis of ergonomics, cognitive psychology, design aesthetics and so on, referenced toiOS iteration. Afterwards, this thesis designed a user testing, between “skeuomorphism” and flat,in order to evaluate their performance on the interaction time cost, emotion cost, the cost oflearning and cognition, through the specific experimental data and results. Ultimately, tocompare the pros and cons of both the difference in the user experience on usability. Last but notlest, combining theory with practice, the author conducted iOS9visual system functions and userinterface design practices such as forecasting, under the guidance of the previous theoretical and the text of experimental studies.The author hopes that this thesis and research work can provide new thinking for thein-depth study of mobile devices’ human-computer interaction (HCI) design, on the usabilityuser experience about information content and interactive features extensive.
