Research And Design For Wireless Infrared Building Detection System

With the continuous development of economy and technology, cable monitoring network deployment is not only large amount of cabling and poor reliability, and in the case of some special building cannot inside wiring cannot be solved. And wireless sensor network (WSN) is the use of flexible, low cost, has good application prospect in building monitoring.The building detection system based on wireless sensor network has some good characteristics, for example, low cost, easy deployment and flexible networking. This paper puts forward a new networking scheme for building detection based on wireless infrared ZigBee network. This network of star topology consists of many infrared monitoring nodes and the coordinator. These infrared monitoring nodes which were deployed in the building receives the infrared signal, then send signal to the coordinator. And the coordinator sends the message to PC for further analysis and processing. The wireless communication module, which adopts a wireless RF module CC2530 and is connected with a microprocessor MSP430 through the SPI interfaces, has the characteristics of fast communication speed, stable transmission and low power consumption.The software system which running on the PC provides system configuration, data acquisition, data storage, data analysis, detection alarm and graphics display function and so on. Through the software interface users can easy to control and operate the system. And the system can achieve the function of people monitoring by analyzing data and playing alarm sound.The experiments were carried out in the fourth layer of first engineering building in the school. After test, results show that the system can well realize personnel monitoring function. And the system has the features of intelligent, low cost, low power consumption. Also it promotes the development of building monitoring under special environment.
