With the rapid development of science and technology, the research on head and eye movement is more and more popular. At present, the application of head and eye movement is mainly concentrated in the field of medicine, but application is few in other fields, mainly stays in the research stage. Therefore, the research in the field of head and eye movement control is an emerging field. This paper is to use the analysis method of software structure to analyze physiological characteristics of head and eye movement system.First of all, in the modeling and analysis of head and eye movement system, the classic software architecture styles are studied, and the model is established to analyze physical characteristics of head and eye movement system. Finally, the structure of the hierarchical message bus and CORBA standard are used to study the head and eye movement system for the design and analysis of the logical view.Secondly, this paper introduces the design of a distributed application software based on head and eye movement system, that is a sight control system based on CORBA. The main function of the system can be summarized as follows:use sight to control the mouse to follow and click. After it starts, initialization is first, then the system is running. At this time, the cursor follows operators’ visual focus on the screen. When the operator blinks his left eye, mouse will be clicked the left button. In the design and Implementation of sight control system based on CORBA, the JMF is used to capture and process the real-time image information. The digital image technology used are:binary processing, image flip, corrosion processing, expansion processing and so on. The Hough transform algorithm is used to determine the pupil center position. And a new method is used to map the pupil image coordinates to the computer screen coordinate. The algorithm is designed to determine the blink of an eye. CORBA line control system based on the tests show that the system meets the design requirements, the original. The test of sight control system based on CORBA shows that the system meets the original design requirements.Finally, we summarize the main research findings of this paper, and point out the defect in design and implementation of the system. Then some proposals are proposed to improve the sight control system.
