Application Of Wireless Communication Terminal In The Department Of Fire Prevention

Currently, computer technology and communication technology developed rapidly, embedded technology continue to make breakthroughs, Hand-held wireless terminal system has been developed rapidly and has been applied to biomedicine, industry, military and telecommunication. In recent years, information system of fire protection progressed rapidly, computer technology has been widely used in the field of fire prevention. In order to meet the development demand, fire protection personal digital assistants brought out.It is designed for the special needs of fire fighting system, based on the mobile communication network, to realize information interactive between mobile terminal and professional fire fighting data, providing the services of fire location, information service, image service, as well as database management and other functions. The result is realizing the decision-making for fire support, real-time transmission of fire information, improving the efficiency of fire fighting operation, upgrading fire service supervision and management level.The paper has conducted the research of handheld wireless communication terminal application in the department of fire prevention, analyzed the characteristics, and designed mobile terminal system for fire fighting. First, the system is divided into several parts based on the project needs, designed the logical structure of system and the network topology. Because of the confidentiality of the entire system, data integrity, identify authentication and other security needs, especially wireless communication information security, analyzing a variety of security technologies, the use of SSL(Secure Socket Layer) in the system is proposed. Secondly, the use of MTK platform and Nucleus operating system, make the project development easier, greatly saved the product cost. Finally, XML and Socket technology are used to achieve the function of the system, finished the project and put it into use.Proved by the evidence of practice, the whole system can be run at usual circumstance. It can take well of the information interactive between mobile terminal and professional fire data, providing the location service, information service, image service, database management. It can realize the overall management of decision-making information(disposal of hazardous chemicals, fire water, fire equipment, key fire units, expert database, linkage unit of society, etc.) All the prospective function has achieved the target.
