With the rapid development of global economy and the progress of high technology, mobile intelligent terminals such as smart phones, Pad and so on become available for common people. People can make use of them to watch movies, listen to music, play video games and do mobile online shopping. This mobile online shopping stimulates the rapid development of e-commerce. To serve customers with better online shopping experience, the author used HTML5 to develop a web mobile e-commerce system based on the Wu Ai market program in Shen Yang. Compared with traditional native applications, this system has its unique advantages.First of all, in order to make a full understanding of mobile e-commerce, the existing systems and technologies are studied and researched. Besides, the demands of customers and technologies used in our system such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Servlet.etc are deeply analyzed and studied respectively. What is more, an overall design and detailed design of the system is made, and flow charts of every function module are drawn. Finally, this system is implemented, and problems emerged are solved to perfect it constantly.Based on the operation of mobile Wu Ai e-commerce mall, five aspects of work is done. First, developing Mobile E-commerce sytem, based on HTML5, is a new attempt for the development model of Mobile E-commerce itself. Second, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript technologies were used to complete functions in client, and Servlet technology in server. The server in this system is Apache Tomcat which is commonly used now, and the database is MySQL which is open source and free. Third, new features of HTML5 are profoundly analyzed and are tested in practice. For example, Web Socket technology is used to deal with communication between client and server. Local Web SQL Database technology is utilized in user's shopping cart. Fourth, this system can run in mobile intelligent terminals and personal computers which fully demonstrated the advantages of cross-platform of HTML5. Fifth, the deficiencies of this system, improvement methods as well as work to be done in the future are put forward after the conduction of a comprehensive analysis.Though the implementation of this system, the author hopes that a mobile e-commerce system based on HTML5 can be developed, which has features of superior performance, good user experience, low bandwidth, stability in cross-platform.
