Shanxi with rich coal reserves is a coal-rich province. In recent years, Shanxi coal enterprises which is an important economic pillar, are facing great challenge. In the traditional thinking coal sales, there are many drawbacks, such as coal sales demand analysis lagged behind, the lack of timely capturing target customers and market information and the insensitivity on coal sales market. There existed poor quality coal production, adulterating to expand coal production and these seriously damaged the interests of customers. With the increasing competition in the market, the problems of coal sales are becoming increasing complex. In order to stay ahead in the competitive market in coal sales, Shanxi Province should reform and innovate sales model, understand the coal market in a timely manner, and smooth coal sales information channels.Traditional coal sales model use inefficient way of transmitting information, such as phone, fax and e-mail, which is not only inefficient, but also is a waste of manpower, and can not guarantee the timeliness and accuracy of the information conveyed.This old sales model seriously affect the operation efficiency of coal enterprises, increasing the cost of business operations, which restricts the production and development of coal enterprises. Therefore, based on the e-commerce platform, it’s good idea to full use of the Internet, computer technology, communications technology and other advantages, to build a coal sales management system, so that the coal enterprises in Shanxi can release the latest information in real time to achieve the coal information management, and meet customer demands for coal query, coal orders, coal trading and payment, as well as information feedback and other operations.With this coal sales model, it can not only improve efficiency, reduce operating costs, but also keep abreast of market information and respond quickly to the specific market. This fast and efficient means can not only save resources in coal enterprises, but also maximize economic efficiency coal enterprises. Therefore, design and implementation of coal sales management system based on e-commerce platform is choosen in this paper.In this system, B / S structure and ASP.NET is used, Visual Studio 2012 is adopted as the development tool to develop and design the business process. Use SQL Server 2008 as the database, carry out a detailed database analysis and design, and obtain database entities and E-R diagram for this system. Finally, this system is released on the IIS server. The main work is as follows,Firstly, demand analyses of this system are processed for this system. System feasibility, system functional goals, the system functional requirements and system database analysis are analysed. Participants involved in this system are analysed to find the corresponding use cases and use case descriptions.System’s database all entities are analyzed to design good database schema and build well database E-R diagram for this system.Secondly, the architecture of the system is designed, the functional modules of the system are divided, the system data flow diagrams and data dictionary are devised.Again, system has been implemented to achieve complete implementation of foreground applications and background applications. Wherein the foreground application is subdivided into five functional modules containing information browsing, user registration, customer orders, shopping cart handle and user message,and the background application is subdivided into order five modules containing management, inventory management, message management, upload management and user management.Finally, the system test and system deployment have been completed.
