As the economy grows, the number of cars in the city is increasing. The existing parking system has been unable to meet the needs of the driver to park and take the car, making the parking and taking the vehicle has become an important problem for the driver. 1) Many parking lots are still using RS485 bus to communicate. The communication distance is limited and line layout of parking lot is difficult. It is expensive and not competent for remote data acquisition and information exchange. 2) Parking lot use IC card for vehicle access management. Drivers need to consume a lot of time for paying credit card and payment. 3) When the vehicle enters the parking lot, the driver needs to find the parking space, and when he left the parking lot, he needs to search for the location of the vehicle. 4) At present, the character recognition system has low accuracy. The accuracy of character recognition is lower and adaptability to the environment and light is not good.In this paper, we use the license plate recognition technology to capture images from the CMOS camera. Accurately position and identify vehicle license plate number to automatically identify vehicle information through a series of license plate recognition algorithm. Complete vehicle access information collection. In the parking system, the data acquisition and admission control is completed by the single chip microcomputer system. Through the GSM wireless network, the communication between the single chip computer terminal and the computer center is realized, and the complex information processing is carried out in the computer center to realize the centralized management of vehicle information and parking fee. At the same time, through the GSM network, users can use mobile phone to interact with parking system conveniently using text messages. Through the text messages, users can do operations such as parking the car, taking the car, querying parking spaces, paying the fees and so on without the involvement of staff. Truly realize intelligent parking lot.
