Modern air combat has shown characteristics of systemization and network, the traditional air defense combat was centered by launch platform, can’t satisfy the need of modern air defense combat. Our military is actively construction air defense missile networking. Digital simulation plays an important role in the research of network technology. Thetraditional digital simulation system are relatively independent of actual equipment, can’t reflect the actual performance of weapon equipment software. In addition, the design, development, debugging, testing and validation process of missile weapon embedded software mostly depends on the real test and bench hardware platforms. If the developer build debugging environment with the actual hardware and software in the course of development, they need to coordinate both software and hardware resources with various departments. Its implementation is very difficult.For the sake of those problems, the thesis studied and designed of the virtual operating environment of missile weapon software. By this environment, missile weapon software can join in HLA simulation system directly. It also supports to develop and debug software on the virtual environment. The work of this thesis is as follows.Firstly, on the background of VxWorks real-time operating system, this thesis has implement system services of task management, semaphores, message queues and device management, making missile weapon software can run on a general computer. Then a virtual network communication module was developed, to replace the original network communications software interface. By using configuration files, the function of combine software joint running was achieved, network communications between the original software has been transformed to the process to process communication on the same computer, this can reduces network latency and improve the system efficiency.Secondly, based on previous step, module integrated virtual operating environment with RTI was developed. By using the virtual operating environment and simulation integration module, missile weapon software can join in HLA simulation system directly. This provided key technical support to construct digital simulation system with missile weapon software. The virtual operating environment has been successfully applied to the development, debugging and construction of digital simulation system of certain missile weapon. Taking construct comprehensive development and digital simulation system for a missile weapon system for example. Applications have been carried out to verify the virtual operation environment.After completion of this virtual running environment development, integration and simulation system, the weapons and equipment of embedded software development, debugging and testing efficiency is greatly improved, and don’t have to depend on the real test and bench hardware platforms.It also can provide support to use software of weapon equipment construct digital simulation system, realize the simulation of air defense combat, and test software performance requirements.
