All-digital Simulation Environment Embedded Software Testing Technology Research

Software test is the important activity in the SQA. Especially,the embedded systems are uses largely in the aerospace, aviation, correspondence, medical treatment, industrial realms and military ,so the embedded softwares testing are very strictly. But research on embedded software testing have just started in china, the test tool development and theories study all get behind with abroad. contraposed the existing problem of the embedded software testing tool and the characteristic of the embedded software, this paper build up a full digital simulation test environment.Even if having no any the embedded systems hardware and peripherals, it can implement the overall valid test of the embedded software in the host,so as to increase the execution efficiency, visibility, controllability,real-time of the tested embedded software and development progress of embedded software.This thesis begins with theory simulation and software testing, discu-sses technology of virtual machine, simulated signal, automation test andits application within the full digital simulation test environment, and present the full digital simulation test environment structure and implementing methods. first,use the MCS- 51 CPU as a research object to build upa Virtual Machine, tested programe can run at on it。then beging to designtest tool and debug based on the Virtual Machine, implementing real-time,function and overlay test,Full digital simulation test environment implement the non-interfere-nce and real-time test, do not need to embedded stubs.Test process can becontrol,the development software and hardware can develop in the same ti-me, thus,speed development progress of embedded system。...
