This paper aims to study the difficulties that some enterprise faces in quality inspection of auxiliary care bed for the disabled. It describes the status quo of related research in quality inspection domestic and abroad, and the application that has been made by manufacturing enterprises and research institutions in the area. On the basis of the in-depth research in these theories and methods, the author designed and developed the quality inspection system of auxiliary care bed for the disabled, which can make corresponding analysis according to the inspection parameters, thus helping to study the quality status in the production and find out the existing problems in time.With the comprehensive using VB6.0, RS-485 bus communication technology, ACCESS database, quality control theory and software engineering, the system can complete the quality inspection of auxiliary care bed for the disabled automatically, by acquiring and controlling multi-point quality parameters through the host computer and intelligent inspection instrument. The main research results of the paper are outlined as follows:1. The functions of the quality inspection system for disabled care equipment is analyzed. The author researches on the working principle of auxiliary care bed for the disabled, studies the enterprises’specific requirements for the equipment quality inspection, determines the system function, designs the overall structure of the system, and chooses the system development environment.2. The hardware design of the system is completed. Considering the requirements for the inspection and the result of market research, the author chooses intelligent inspection instrument, PLC and bus interface that are of well performance, plausible, and suitable for the system, designs the system of data acquisition device and the communication interface between upper computer and lower computer, implementing real-time measurement of product parameters such as pressure and temperature, etc.3. The software design of the system is completed. With modular method, the author designs test module and analysis module of quality parameters. With emphasis on the test analyzes the design of PC and PLC communication module, PC and intelligent inspection instrument communication module, serial port communication technology under the VB environment and software filtering technology used in the system. The analysis module analyzes the design principle of the quality control chart that the system adopts and the realization of the control chart. The friendly human-computer interaction interface that has been designed, can not only easily inspect the product safety standard parameters, but also visually explenation.The quality inspection system of auxiliary care bed for the disabled has been successfully applied to practical production. The system has overall good performance. It exercises automatic inspection of product quality, which replaces the original manual readings and records, acquiring inspection results of high precision, high degree of automation, high reliability, and improving the inspection efficiency. Meanwhile, the system analyzes the safety standard parameters of the equipment by using the quality control theory, helps enterprises to realize dynamic management and tracking of product quality information, and makes quality management more scientific and easily to operate.
