In the production process of wine and beverage industry, advanced filling technology has greatly enhanced the automation level of the production line and production efficiency. However, in the areas of product quality detection, due to the backwardness of related technologies, the major domestic manufacturers are still accomplishing the detection by artificial eyes. The traditional artificial operation methods can not meet the current quality standards of bottled products and production rate. Hence, we take a kind of healthy wine of a domestic factory as the object to study, research machine vision inspection control system for product of wine in order to achieve the automatic intelligent detection of high-volume products for high-speed production lines.First, the current situation of alcohol markets is analyzed and the requirement of canned product detection is investigated. The principle and characteristics of machine vision inspection technology are introduced. The composition of a typical machine vision inspection system is described, as well as the applications of machine vision inspection technology in various industries are analyzed. Development situation of current domestic and foreign visual inspection devices for particle in liquids are summarized and the features of the current technology are concluded.Secondly, regarding the actual needs of wine producers, analyzed the control requirements and technical specifications of industrial visual inspection control system, including the requirements of image quality, the selection of tracking mode, the requirements of speed and so on. The mechanical structure of the visual inspection system was designed according to the control requirements, and the functioning process of continuous tracking are determined. Overall control scheme is proposed, including hardware and software control design.Furthermore, according to the overall design of continuous tracking motion control system, the selection of hardware for the system is analyzed. Hardware of the tracking motion servo control system are exploited, which takes the Siemens S7-300 series PLC as the center of controller, and bases on the LENZE ECS series AC servo controller and the LENZE MPS series servo motor.Finally, all the software design process of the machine vision inspection control system for wine products is detailed given. In the compiling environment SIMATIC STEP7 of S7-300, the PLC software is designed and debugged, and the hardware configuration and all the functions of the system are realized. Programming the servo controller by the GDC (Global Drive Control) of LENZE and adjusting the parameters in GDC, the servo motor can be controlled according to users’demands. By configuration of PLC in hardware, Profibus communication between PLC and LENZE servo controller is realized.
