In recent years, with the development and maturity of the core technology of the Internet, applications based on the web emerge in endlessly, and a wealth of knowledge and information has been accumulated and stored in the web. Accordingly more and more people are choosing to obtain the knowledge by querying the web. Though the knowledge and information in the web is distributed and without a fixed structure, people can obtain and analyze the semantic information included in manual way. However, it will cost large manpower and a lot of time. People hope that computer can be used to analyze and locate the information contained in web, and collect the specified information in a certain domain more efficiently, so as to realize the efficient access and utilization of the domain knowledge in web.In view of the above requirements, the main work of this thesis includes:(1) A study on the present research results of the ontology knowledge acquisition and web knowledge acquisition is conducted, and by integrating the advantages of both ontology knowledge acquisition and web knowledge acquisition, a web knowledge acquisition model based on ontology is proposed in this thesis. The model is designed based on the full text search engine, and uses web crawler to search the related information from the designated website. Then, on the basis of web page analysis and conversion, the knowledge of web is extracted according to ontology and displayed to the client;(2) According to the model frame of web knowledge acquisition model based on ontology, a system used in medical domain is proposed after functional requirements analysis and design analysis. The system is designed from the aspect of overall architecture, the client, the server and the database, and the function of each module is discussed;(3) From the aspects of algorithm design, class design, interface design and module access, the key modules in the system are analyzed and implemented in detail, including ontology management module, metadata management module, web crawler module, knowledge extraction module and full text search engine module;(4) The functional tests are carried out on the implement of the key modules of the medical domain knowledge acquisition system, including the interface interactive operation and non-functional analysis.In this thesis, by studying the related technology of knowledge acquisition, it explores the way of web knowledge acquisition based on ontology, and through the realization of the knowledge acquisition in the medical domain, the feasibility is verified, which provides technical support for knowledge acquisition.
