Steel pipe is widely used in pipeline system of industrial sector, such as metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry and City Plumbing Supply system. Industrial pipe work condition is very poor, steel pipe is easy to bring about corrosion, fatigue damage or leakage accident by potential defects in the internal pipeline becoming damage, causing huge losses to the national production and people’s life. Only the oil industry, every year in the country’s economic losses amounted to 100 million yuan because of the oil pumping pipe perforation, breakage or fracture accident.In order to decrease economic losses caused by the corrosion of pipelines or breakage, the nondestructive detection and intelligent diagnosis of the steel pipe has great economic significance and social benefits. But the output of the detection of steel pipe must have a reference to determine the inspection results. Therefore, making inspection standard sample pipe plays an important role in nondestructive detection and diagnosis of steel pipe. At the same time, the standard sample pipe can detect that the precision of the inspection equipment is reliable. This paper focuses on the research of the control system of the steel pipe groove milling machine, including the theory research and simulation and design of control circuit.Firstly, this paper research the basic principle and the basic structure of the steel pipe groove milling machine, it adopts a composite structure of discrete components and designs a small system to meet the portability requirements. It designs the hardware circuit of the electric spark pulse power supply because it is an important part of the steel pipe groove milling machine.Secondly, the mathematical model of step motor is researched. In order to achieve a higher control precision, the subdivision driving technology of the stepper motor is studied deeply. Operational curve model of stepper motor subdivision driving model and constant torque of stepping motor are established in the paper.Then, the mathematical model is constructed and the stepper motor’s subdivision drive is analyzed in MATLA/Simulink, using M programming language to control the output current of the subdivided driving.Finally, it sets up the experimental platform and designs the periphery control circuit which is as the core of STM32F103 processor. It compiles the corresponding procedures, designs the controlling interface of the touch screen, realizes human-computer communication and improves simple and intuitive of the system operation.
