With the intensification of the energy crisis, the improvement of living standards of people and the awareness of environmental protection of people, the electric car has been greatly developed. EMS is needed by electric car to monitoring the state of batteries on line and to balance the differernt characeristics of batteries in time when they are charging or discharging.The display module is a very important part of EMS.Touch screen is a kind of interactive interfaces which combines display function with input function, it is chosen as the EMS display module for customers to observe the batterys state and though it customers can control EMS and modify the parameters of EMS, what’s more, it can also reduce the equipment volume as far as possible. Based on the above background, a kind of touch screen of EMS design scheme is put forward in this paper. STM32is used as control core in this scheme which is produced by ST based on CORTEX-M3kernel, four line resistance touch screen and TFT LCD Module are used, a buzzer is used to achieve simple voice alarm prompt, communicates with computer by USB interface to download and upload internal configuration, sets CAN interface for communicating to EMS, shows real-time state and warning information of every cell and Battery pack, at the same time, through it can set and modifie the parameters of EMS and can control the devices of EMS on-line.Each display and set page of touch screen is designed, and the communication program among touch screen and other modules of EMS is written, each display and setting requirements of EMS is reached.
