Research And Design Of Experiment Management System For Signals And System

The "signal and linear system" is a professional basic course of electronic communication engineering, which plays a connecting role in the whole curriculum learning process. However, there are too many theories and concepts to understand, which causes great distress to the students. Experimental teaching plays an important supporting role in the course of study. The traditional experiment teaching is just to verify the result of the experiment, which hindering students’ independent choice and innovation seriously. With the development of school size and the increasing number of students,the traditional experimental management methods no longer meet the needs of teachers and students. Therefore, a new generation of experiment management system is designed, setting the goals that cultivate the students’ independent and differentiated learning, Combining with the superiority of software experiment teaching and the advantage of hardware experimental teaching, using computer and network to manage the students’ experimental information. The system is a experiment complex systems, which combines hardware experiment box, input and output signals and user experiment information management function in one. This system offers a full range of personal information management、experiment report、experimental results and other functions for students and teachers.According to the experimental reform requirements,the system is designed for all the students and teachers,under the background of the practical application. In this paper, the structure of the system architecture、hardware system、signal input and output is detailed,which is focused on the PC computer experiment management system. After the analysis and design of system objectives、functional requirements、processes and databases, the classic C / S structure is selected for the system and the Visual C++ 6.0 is selected as the development tool, SQL Server 2008 database is supported to the system.The system is designed for different roles with different functions. The administrator client is designed for teachers and students’ experimental information management. The teacher client is mainly designed for the management of teachers’ information、inspection and evaluation of the reports. The students clients is designed for the management of personal information、laboratory curriculum view、experimental preparation、experimental operation、experiment report and results.The innovation of this system is students ’ differentiation experiments, the experimental parameters and programs can independently chose by different students,experiment prep system is set to ensure the quality of teaching experiments. Using of network management,following the resource sharing construction principles,the ultimate goal is to improve the utilization of equipments and increase management efficiency.
