With the development of the advanced manufacturing technology, the realization of automatic welding is inevitable. Solder robots can greatly improve the working environment,ensure welding quality, improve the efficiency of welding, save costs and increase enterprise competitiveness in engineering program. In order to meet the market’s requirement, this paper studied the headset terminal special soldering machine, completed audio terminal automatic soldering machine research through the structural design and electric control design, and determined the welding technology and parameters by the ansys simulation technology and statistical experiment.Firstly, the overall structural design, driver design and control design had been ascertained according to the functional requirement and technical index of the automatic welding technology for headset terminal, analysis of the machining process, the basic process and design difficulties.Secondly, the detailed design of soldering machine had been carried on based on the structure characteristics of earphone terminal and enameled wire. The special soldering machine adopts modular design determined by calculation, analysis and reliability test of the key part, which mainly included vibration feeding, rotating recognition, automatic welding and welding line pre-processing and so on, so as to complete the design of the whole machine model, and finally to complete the production of the physical prototype.Then, automatic control system with high efficiency, high precision, good stability had been developed through the combination of the panasonic PLC and hai teck human-computer interaction interface(touch screen), which could satisfy the requirement of earphone terminal welding process.Finally, the simulation was carried out on the key part of a simplified model by put it into the simulation analysis software ansys, which would contribute to the determination of key parameters in the welding process. Based on the simulation and orthogonal test, the key parameters would be fixed in the process of audio terminal automatic welding.Earphone terminal automatic soldering machine studied in this paper implemented the welding equipmentfrom scratch in China. The product will be conducive to solve a series of problems in the artificial solder products, such as poor consistency, high cost of human resource and low production efficiency, which will facilitate to the development of automatic welding equipment and welding technology research of straight cylindrical terminal similar to the earphone terminal.
