The credibility of the simulation model is the fatal proof to assess the availability of the simulation model. The key purpose of VV&A(Verification, Validation and Accreditation) is to guarantee high simulation credibility by standardizing the development process of M&S(Modeling and Simulation). Validation is a key step of VV&A. As a kind of simple but effective time-domain analysis method, grey relational analysis is widely used in model validation. However, the descriptions of data consistency analysis results which are calculated by different grey relational models are not unified, which leads to grey relational analysis result cannot be used as simulation credibility. It is necessary to convert analysis result of different grey relational models to credibility.This paper focuses on model validation base on grey relational analysis and following studies were carried out.Firstly, the basic thoery of grey relational analysis were expounded and several classical grey relational models were given; base on the character analysis result, an improved grey relational model was proposed; the characteristics of different grey relational models were summarized by comparing the analysis results of different grey relational models.Secondly, the process of model validation based on grey relational analysis was described, which include the process of data consistency analysis methods to choose, the process of data pretreatment and the process of data segmentation; the flow charts of every process were given, which is the base of the applicati on of grey relation model in validation and the development of assistant tool.Thirdly, based on the analysis of the credibility measurement, two transformation ways from grey relational analysis result to simulation credibility were given, which includes the hypothesis, rules and principles of transformation; based on above, a transformation model was proposed and its rationality was analyzed.Finally, produced an assistant tool; take the sideslip angle outputs of guidance and control simulation model as an example, analyzed its degree of consistency with grey relational analysis method by the assistant tool; converted the grey relational analysis result to simulation credibility by the assistant tool; to prove the rationality and availability of the assistant tool by process and result analysis.
