With the development and popularization of the technology of virtualization, more and more enterprises increasingly tend to deploy applications to the virtual machine, hoping to reduce cost and improve the utilization rate of resources in the meantime. Virtual machine is achieved by the use of Virtual Machine Monitors, which will results in some performance loss compared with the physical machine. It is the key point in the process of virtualization for enterprises that how to evaluate the performance percentage of the virtual machine against the physical machine. However, the current research on the comparison between the performance of virtual machine and that of the physical machine is based on the performance comparison of a single dimension, such as the comparison of the CPU, the network, the memory or the disk. Therefore, the comprehensive performance assessment about the virtual machine and the physical machine needs to be further researched in the future.On the basis of the method of the comprehensive performance assessment of virtualization on the combination, this article is aimed to find a way to measure the performance percentage of the virtual machine against the physical machine percentage as a whole, which is built on the method of method of Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process and the principle of maximizing deviations. According to the shortcomings of the Analytic Hierarchy Process, this article is inclined to calculate weight of the functional layer elements based on the method of Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process. At the same time, the calculation method of the weight of the indicator layer element based on the principle of maximizing deviations has not only taken the dominance of the functional layer to the indicator layer element into account, but also avoided the constraint of weight unitization which is necessary in the method of maximizing deviation decision-making. Then the methods is practiced in an application environment and verified by multi- group experiments with the Load Runner testing tool.So far, it has proved that the conclusion drawn from the method of comprehensive performance assessment of virtualization is consistent with the experimental result.
