The polarimetric hyperspectral imaging has both of the characteristics of polarimetric imaging and hyperspectral imaging, in the detected image,we can obtain more about the target information, including intensity, spatial, spectral and polarimetric information. The target information can be extracted and the target detection ability can be enhanced by using the target and the background polarimetric property. This technology has great potential in application, so the research of polarimetric hyperspectral imaging technology can satisfy the need of practical application better. This paper mainly carried out the following aspects of the work:Firstly, the research and development of polarimetric imaging technology and optical tunable filter are introduced, and on the basis of them the work to be done and the significance of the research are made clear.Second, the principle of the generation of polarization and the principle of the measurement of the polarimetric state are studied in detail, and based on the research, the theoretical analysis of the content of the polarimetric hyperspectral imaging system is carried out.Third, the working principle of AOTF and basic tuning relationship were studied deeply. The I.C.Chang theory and the P.A.Gass correction theory were compared and analyzed, and the optimum ultrasonic polar angle and transducer length were analyzed according to the theoretical analysis. Finally, according to the theory, the polarimetric hyperspectral imaging system was built, the relevant experiments are carried out to test the performance of the system, and the laboratory near field target and laboratory outside the far-field target were measured in the experiment, getting the desired effect and verifying the feasibility of the experimental system, providing a reliable basis for the practical application of hyperspectral imaging.
