For the traditional optical splitter, there are many defects in selecting wavelength, therefore, this paper uses acousto-optic tunable filter to study the spectral imaging. Thesystem consists of the front lens group, acousto-optic tunable filter, drive circuit, CCDoptical detector and the computer. The system can show the waveband of500nm to1000nm. By controlling the acoustic frequency on the AOTF, it can select the wavelength, getting the various spectral image of the same target. The experiment take the bulb as theobject to be tested, the different spectral image of different wavelength proves the systemcan select the wavelength. This paper includes the following parts:Firstly, this paper learns and studies the domestic and abroad related research results, understanding the current situation and the development direction of spectral imagingfield by consulting recent papers or documents, afterwards confirming the specificcontent of this paper according to the hardware condition.Secondly, this paper analyzes the related theory of the AOTF imaging system. Tothe AOTF components, the main reason they can achieve beam spliting is the abnormalBragg diffraction occurring in the crystal. In the process of introducing the related theory,it also explains the related concept of parallel momentum matching, lying the foundationfor the design of experiment system and the experimental operation.Thirdly, this paper determines the various specific parameters of the experimentsystem, designing the structure of the system. It determines the best experimentalparameters by analyzing the influence of various factors, elaborating the superiorqualities of two-order filtering, providing guidance for the experimental operation. Finally, this paper proves the practical applicability of the system by measuring theultrasonic frequency and wavelength relationship, spectrum width, and the spectral imageof luminous objects and objects reflecting light. It evaluates the performance andaccuracy of the system.
