Complex simulation resources have the characteristics of variety, properties complex and semantic complex. In order to insure the efficiency of the simulation system be improved, the reuse ability and sharing ability of complex simulation resources be improved, the cost of simulation system development be saved. In view of the complex simulation resources reuse and sharing problem, this paper research the description method of simulation resources, the storage and management techniques of simulation resources, the composability of simulation resources.Firstly, according to the characteristics of complex simulation resources, the metadata and XML resource description method was given, and all the simulation resources were unified described. Avoid the ambiguity of resource, and do well prepared for the reuse and sharing of resources.Secondly, the storage management was the precondition of resource reuse and sharing, this paper studied the complex simulation resources storage techniques. All the simulation resources were classified management, and simulation resources databases were set up. Different species of metadata information were stored in the relation databases. At the same time, the simulation resources which were described with XML were stored in xml files. Combining Relation databases with xml files storage method, the management efficiency of the complex simulation resources was improved.Thirdly, based on the composability of simulation resources, combinationability of the simulation resources was studied. The combination situation ofsimulation resources was divided into two cases. The two cases were combinationof the same kinds of simulation resources and combination of different kinds ofsimulation resources. According to the hierarchical model and characteristics ofsimulation resources, the simulation composability evaluation index es wereclear-cut. Based on the combination situation and composability evaluationindexes, the composability evaluation method was given.Finally, in order to realize the reuse and sharing of simulation resources, the management tool was designed. The overall structure framework was given, and the system management, project management, information management, resource combination function were designed.
