In recent years, with the rapid development of societ y, people’s requirements of life are gradually improved. And the research of traceability system for livestock product has gained extensive attention in the world because of its complexity and diversity. Foreign research of traceability system for livestock product started earlier, also they have developed a corresponding technical specifications, in this area, our research start lately, so the requirements of the research of the key technology in traceability system for livestock product are extremely urgent demand. This paper mainly does the following research of the key technology in traceability system for livestock product.The first, this paper developes research around the RFID of the traceability system, in the first place, this paper does some research on the basic of RFID system and the electromagnetic field theory of RFID, in the second place, this paper does some research on the EPC and middleware of RFID.Next in importance, the paper does some research on anti-collision algorithm of RFID, this paper focuses on the research of two kinds of algorithms, which are the anti-collison algorithm based on ALOHA and the anti-collison algorithm based on certainty. After the research on the above two algorithms, this paper puts forward an improved anti-collision algorithms on the basis of the anti-collision algorithm based on certainty, and this paper verifies its superiority by analysis and simulation.After that, based on the above basic research on the related technologies, after a brief demand analysis on the traceability system for livestock product, this paper gives a detailed design of the traceability system for livestock product.In the last part of this paper, it summarizes the paper, puts forward the corresponding improvement scheme about the existing problems, and forecasts future research directions and working importance.
