With the deepening reform of income distribution mechanisms and the strengthening work of talent introduction, the construction of information on the compensation management must advance by the times to adapt the new situation of the compensation management for universities.The challenges on the compensation management on the new situation are: 1. To promoting income distribution mechanisms standardization, various distribution modes of income have been construct in the universities on the new situation, such as the mode of annual salary, the mode of performance-based wage, the mode of position subsidy etc.. Nowadays there is less information solution for the new distribution modes of income in universities. 2. With the increasing of number and categories of staff members in university, there are various methods of payment with the increasing of number and categories of staff members in university. Unified management and monitoring for the process of payment are need by the department of the compensation management. 3. Personal information data which are got from human recourse department are needed in the compensation management and the compensation data need to be sent to the finance department. The complicated data transferring cannot be done by the outmoded payment software or salary module of ERP.Compensation management system which designed and implemented in this paper is in view of colleges and universities. The system, integrated the privilege and the log management safety service, is the all-in-one solution which also provides the higher performance services that are personal information management, business process management and salary calculation.In this paper, we design and implement the compensation management system, which is a B/S system, by Java EE technology and the Spring MVC & Mybatis Framework. The system consists of the modules of personal information management, salary calculation, business process management and access control & log management.The main contribution of this paper are: 1. Establish the communication method between difference systems by Web Services framework, which is a solution of “Islands of Information” in the construction of information system for universities; 2. We abstract the business process of a university which our project serves for; We design and implement state machines of business process which can be view with work form. 3, We realize the function of access control and log management by using Spring AOP aspect oriented programming technology, making the security of the system is greatly improved.This system has been deployed and tested in the Network and Information Technology Center of Sun Yat-sen University. The Labor Department of Sun Yat-sen University, the user of this system, confirms the system can promote the efficiency and accuracy of compensation management business and this system has good application value.
