Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) has become one essential part of the industrial control field since its first appearance.But its shortness like the lack of specificity and low cost performance are becoming more and more obvious.With the development of the chip integration level,the embedded PLC occupies an important position in some specific areas.Like the automation of flute grinding machine,using the technology of embedded PLC will massively lower the cost and fit the application environment.This article takes the flute grinding machine as automation object, on the basis of analysis the specific requirements,taking the embedded PLC technology as key solution,author has developed the hardware and software platform aiming at flute grinding machine.Using ARM series chips as CPU,coordinating with ancillary circuit,integrate RS232 module,AS-i module,digital I/O module and analog input module into one circuit board.The software platform uses μC/OS Ⅱ as operating system,and offers drivers for the hardware platform.Develop ladder diagram programming platform under Windows using VC++6.0 and achieve the function of ladder diagram transformation using AOV graph.This project has set up the hardware and software platform and verify the feasibility.By comparison,using the embedded PLC technology will increase the operational efficiency and lower the cost.Prove the advantage of the embedded PLC in specificity and cost highly demanded area.
