The television system has got a lot of big technical innovation in recent years. It went through analog black-television to the analog colored television and then to the digital television. Now, the television system is progressing on another technical innovation, TV is being changed from digital television to smart television. Whitin this big change, there is a huge smart television market and the potential opportunity which has brought to us for the the digital television equipment development.In this paper, I brought up a new digital television demultiplexer solution based on based on Marvell ARMADA1500. The feasibility of solution has been fully researched in order that the SOC can successfully enter smart digital TV market. The hardware system includes the transport stream input,FIGO system and crypto engine.After introducing these hardware modules, the solution can resolve the system high speed data throughput issue successfully.The core algorithms of the TV system which includes transport stream input and demultiplex, data encryption and decryption have been researched and developed. In order to meet with the high performance, a lot of methods have been made to optimize these core algorithms.The solution is working on Linux and Andriod operation system. According to the relationship among the demultiplex sub modules, the solution brought up event driven model. The task based on real time schedule has successfully realized demultiplex input, output encryption and decryption functions.
