The Design And Research Of The Regulation System Of High Value Consumables

Medical supplies are the necessary conditions of diagnosis, treatment and operations in the hospital. Scientific and efficient methods of materials management which supported by the performance evaluation of clinical departments is an important method to promote a hospital ’s core competitive strength. At present, due to the low integration level of the hospital material management system, HIS and the red cross system, there are many blind spots in hospital internal management. Therefore, it is a theoretical and practical research subject that how to optimize the management and reduce the purchasing and management costs of medical consumables.This thesis first analyzed the needs of medical material management, and then discussed the problems of the management of supplies management information system which are now existing in many domestic hospitals. The problems are including the difficulties of materials supervision, failure to follow fee standards and management procedures, and the lack of information backward system. It also explained the objective and the main work of the thesis. After that,the related standards of hospital material management and information system and the present situation of the management of high value medical consumed material in hospital are introduced.A new scheme about the business process system was provided in this paper, which was based on the core idea of developing a set of software to achieve the strict supervision to the usage of all charges of the consumable, the scheme prevented the deduction of invoice in the departments. After in-depth understanding the supplies management needs of Jingan district central hospital in Shanghai, the thesis presented the system design scheme and defined the data matching method between systems. After that, a support software system of process management was developed to realize the strict supervision of the whole process of high value consumables from procurement to consumption, and make every financial outcome and income record was well documented. This paper discussed the realization of the software system including system design objectives, system structure, function,and part of the interface and code.The practical operation and benefits of the software shows that the proposed method could make the hospital cost accounting and control more accurate and the income and expenditure of supplies clear, and it also provided the real and accurate data for the performance appraisal system.
