The concept of Smart Home has been well known in the 1970 s, but the first "intelligent building" had not been designed and implemented until the 1980 s. In domestic, Smart Home is just started to rise in recent years. One reason is the limit of domestic economic capacity, the other is the Smart Home devices are inefficient, namely, their features are single, operation is complicated, security is low. But in recent years, the great development of mobile Internet, wireless co mmunication technology, and the steep cost descent of hardware and software equipment provide an opportunity for the development of Smart Home.At present, many Smart Home solutions are based on Zigbee technology, Zigbee technology bandwidth is narrow, transmission rate is slow, transmission distance is short, and can only transmit control signals, making the system’s functions single. In the view of this situation, this paper proposes a wireless communication system solution based on the RT5350 embedded systems, the solution contains a short distance monitoring and remote monitoring, which can concurrent transmit the data,such as text, images, orders.Firstly, for short distance monitoring, use Wi Fi-type indoor monitor solution. The solution includes RT5350 hardware platform and Android client APP. Using the phone’s Wi Fi to connect the hardware platform, then using "RT5350 client" APP on the phone to transmit text, images, and orders with the hardware platform.Secondly, for remote monitoring, use 3G-type remote monitor solution. The solution includes RT5350 hardware platform, home gateways and Android client APP. Hardware platform connects to Internet through the home gateway, Android client identifies home gateway address to connect to the platform through the Oray DDNS, achieving monitor and control the family status anywhere and anytime. For LAN networking, which can not direct ly access the home gateway, this paper also proposed another solution based on Oray network mapping, both of them are without having to login, so data transfers fast and safe.Finally, these two kinds of wireless communication solutions are tested and verified in my laboratory, have gotten expected result.
