In our country, TV media as a communication medium, can convey the will of the party and the government, reflect the voice of the masses of the people, with the supervision of public opinion guide, have distinct political, cultural transmission function, is part of the socialist superstructure. But at the same time television industry is a kind of economic resources in our country, its economic properties making it easier for the own management pattern, the limitation of region and industry, such as program quality is not high, the homogeneity phenomenon. Vicious competition, decline in advertising revenue growth factors reflecting the development of TV media lack of power. But along with the coming of the era of big data makes prospects of the development of TV media is difficult to predict.This paper carefully analysis of cable TV, mobile TV, Internet TV, mobile TV media present development situation and problems, and also discussed the use of big data development of TV media including advantages, risks and other possibilities, as a basis for proposed under the new era of T V media to show how to make use of big data in using big data form innovation, content innovation, interactive form innovation, television advertising. It is quite important for the TV media to realize how to develop to give some enlightenment in the new situation.
