With the construction of smart power grid and the unceasing enhancement of the electric power informatization level, more and more data can be collected in the process of electric power production and marketing. Under this background we need to build a "smart grid data preprocessing and analysis system" to maximize the accuracy and completeness of power data, and provide data analysis support for the huge amounts of data resources. However, this type of data analysis system involving different data resources, at the same time the power data analysis needs to satisfy the demand of different personnel from different department. Therefore, there should be a lot of Independent function module which hava unstable demands. So we should enhance the flexibility and scalability of such system. Therefore, we need to use a new development platform and development scheme based on it to support the development of "smart grid data preprocessing and analysis system" and it will also provide some reference value for the construction of similar systems.In this paper we propose a development plan based on portlet component technology on liferay platform. Portlet is a component technology of Java portal, in this paper we choose liferay as the implementation of java portal. After the analysis of portlet technology and Liferay the overall logic structure, we propose a way to development information system on liferay and an information system application model based on portlet component. After that we design the overall architecture of the "smart grid data preprocessing and analysis system" According to the system application model we porposed. It is difficult to develop complex applications by portlet standard interface, to to solve this problem we build a portlet framework in line with the MVC pattern and make the portlet hava the ablity to adapt to complex application scenarios. Finally, in solving some key technical problems in the development of Liferay, we Implement the "smart grid data preprocessing and analysis system", and verify the information system based on Liferay has the strong flexibility and expansibility.
