Single observer passive location can effectively overcome the lack of active radar positioning easy exposure, which has more wide application scope in the field of electronic reconnaissance. In the single station passive location, how to improve the parameter measurement accuracy, thus improve the single positioning accuracy; And how to improve the performance of the filtering algorithm are two key problems. This dissertation on the premise of selecting the phase difference rate of change method as positioning method, surrounding the positioning model that air movement single observer passively locates the ground fixed target, mainly study of the above two key questions respectively. In this dissertation, a high-precision extraction method of phase difference rate of change is proposed; and the MVEKF filtering algorithm is improved, effectively improve the filtering performance; At last, large numbers of simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the two methods.The main study content and innovation of this dissertation lies in:(1) Proposes a high-precision extraction method of phase difference rate of change (Time-Chip Difference Kalman).The method adopts secondary extraction to extract the phase difference rate of change. Firstly, extending observation time, so each observation could form a time-chip, Using two adjacent time-chip combine to calculate the phase difference rate of change.Then smoothing the results by Kalman filter to achieve high extracting precision. The simulation results show that this method can effectively improve the precision of phase difference rate of change.(2) Put forward an improvement method of MVEKF algorithm to further improve its filtering performance. To the MVEKF algorithm, in one iteration only the error covariance of the filter result was updated, the filter estimate is not updated. This dissertation exploits the Jacobian matrix to update the error covariance, and adds a step of update on the estimate of filter, which improves the accuracy and speed of filter.The research work and results of this dissertation have a certain promotion and reference significance for the single station passive location technology of theoretical research and practical application.
