Design Of A Linear Constant Current Led Driver Circuit

LED can be regarded as a creation of semiconductor materials and optoelectronic technology. LED have been widely used since its small size, low power consumption, high luminous efficiency, long life, good stability and other advantages. At present, LED has become the mainstream of the fourth generationof electric light. In general lighting, because of the brightness, price, power and otherfactors, LED do not have much competitiveness. The circuit integrates power module, logic control module, dimmer module, protection module andoutput module. The simple peripheral application circuit and little active devices make the chip have a long service life. The circuit can operate at mains under. The output current is stable, and the maximum is 80 mA. Under normal temperature, current variation will no more than 6%. Two dimming mode make the average output current can be substantially adjusted. The circuit protection module includes overcurrent protection, undervoltage protection, overtemperature protection, witch can ensure the circuit safety.This paper describes the development, application, and prospects of LED and LED driving power supply. Subsequently, the selection of different LED drive solutions is carried out. And then simply introduce the chip.This paper describes the power supply module, dimming module and protection module. Then the principles were analized, the main parameters are set, andthe simulation is also made. Finally, a joint simulation of the designed modules are made to verify functionality of the chip.
