| Suifenhe vocational and technical education center has been built since 1985, there are 112 teachers and more than 1200 students in it. At the beginning of our school, we set up library to improve teaching and the student’s life after school, at the same time we asked a teacher to manage it. In recent years, with the development of our school, we increased a lot of books and can’t rely on the teacher manage the library only, because it can’t meet our teachers and students. So we put forward a project, it is how to improve management of our library scientifically by using of computer and network technology. We would like to establish a system of management based on network to improve efficiency. It will make resource shared and change service of library. Our school let the teachers of computer do the work, I’m in charge of the key tasks.Books Management System based on network is a typical Management Information System(MIS), it includes two aspects, they are the establishment and maintenance of database at back-end and the application development at front-end. We should follow the principles and steps of software engineering to develop the Books Management System based on network. From what has been discussed above, the paper has the structure. First, it analyzed problems of the Books Management System now and points out the significance of the Books Management System based on network. Second, it details the technical route of system development and feasible study, how to extract the needs and to design profile, how to design database, design and implementation process, the system test. The overall architecture and the design of database are focus. Such makes feature of MIS prominent and follows the steps of software engineering.After comparing several mainstream products,we chose ASP.NET,which is a popular web system development tool. We also chose C# to develop language. At the same time we used database software SQL Server 2005 From Microsoft. |
