With the development of computer and internet technology, the development of information technology becomes rapidly too, the industry of car rental has been widely recognized by the masses, however. in the traditional car rental management way, renting a car may need several hours or even several days;this will block the development of vehicle rental industry.Therefore, the use of network technology and information technology to the traditional car rental management has been re-designed, developed a set of realistic operational needs of vehicle rental management system is significance. the main methods are as follows:Firstly, analyzing requirements of vehicle rental management system by interaction with staffs of vehicle rental company. and realized functional requirements, after that, analyzing requirements of functional module of vehicle rental management system by UML.Secondly, this system is proposed based on B / S mode car rental information management system. When developing the system uses a bottom-up approach to development, the use of easy to develop, easy deployment, high security, high efficiency ASP.NET technology. But also in the system design process this paper joined the MVC framework to achieve a separation of business logic and pages, improved maintainability, scalability and reusability also.Thirdly, doing the system implementing and testing after finishing the system design, firstly, doing the system implementing work with each functional module including interface and core algorithm and use of ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008 technology, after that, doing the system functional module testing work, including functional testing and performance testing, the car rental management system are running smoothly by system testing results and the system have the operation conditions.Finally, the car rental management system is summarized and prospected,summarizing the problem during the car rental management system developing, the next work of car rental management system was prospected.Through this study of vehicle rental system design and development, for the user to open up channels for car rental online transactions; the workflow of vehicle employee management is more limpid and normative; this system have increased the work efficiency; reducing the cost of manpower and management; vehicle rental management is more intelligentialize and hommization; the system has good in various aspects and customer satisfaction.
