Design And Implementation Of Car Rental Management System Based On B/S Mode

With the continuous improvement of people’s living levels, the car rental industry, as a new industry, has a lot of room for development. Traditional car rental management requires managers to carry out a lot of manual operation, which is easy to cause unnecessary mistakes and low efficiency. With the growing business demand of car rental industry, the traditional car rental management has seriously hindered the development of car rental industry, which has become the industry bottleneck. The Internet technology and computer technology provide an effective means for improving the work efficiency. Therefore, the utilization of automation management has become a trend for car rental management system.According to the software engineering idea, this paper introduces the system requirement analysis, system design, system implementation, database design and system testing process in detail for car rental management system. This system adopts B/S structure model and MVC design pattern to build the JAVA run-time environment. In addition, the system also uses My SQL lightweight database as the data storage media system, uses JSP technology for implementing programming system and utilizes My Eclipse8.5 as system development tool.The main functions of car rental management system include user login function, user management function, driver management function, vehicle view/modify function, vehicle rental registration/management/settlement function and etc. The integration of above functions make it possible for informatization management of car rental industry, which satisfies the users’ demands. In order to improve the system security, the system provides function permission mechanism to the corresponding functions. When unprivileged user needs authority to operate in some functions, the user must apply the permission to the administrator.After the implementation of the system, ten developers tested the main function modules of the car rental management system. The test results show that the various modules of the system can meet the users’ demands and the system is suitable for ordinary users. So far, the system has been published and used for four months and don’t have no major issues, which proved the system has great security and reliability.
