Modern society is an information society. Information has become an important factor in the economic and social development and the trend of the world. After America government announced the information highway planning in 1990’s, many countries in the world have developed information technology and many developed and developing countries have put forward the plan of information construction based on different national conditions. Since 1990’s, the degree of information has become an important symbol for national modernization and comprehensive national power. Campus network was a showcase for the school digital development, which could not only greatly improve the school’s teaching and research level but also promote digital education for effective concentration of the campus distributed resources and students browsing by Web.The main contents of the thesis was the analysis for application of W3 C standards in the process of campus network construction, the of campus network construction of Chengdu Industrial Vocational & Technical College in the light of W3 C standards and the design and implementation of its the function modules. The popular B/S architecture was employed for the campus network design of Chengdu Industrial Vocational & Technical College. The campus network was a website including news, information and exchange, which could let students both study hard and get adequate rest and relaxation and latest information from information department. Various functions of the system could meet the requirements of the school website and facilitate information interaction betwen user and website. Campus network accord with anticipated design requirements by detailed test had been put into use and get good performance.
