Social networking services(SNS) which serving the mobile terminals are very promising. The image-sharing application has just been unfolding and received a good reputation from customers. While the extensive growth pattern of mobile application industry has gone to the end in China, indistinctive products or those products homogenized in user experience will be difficult to succeed, and so do the image-sharing applications. But the homogenization of image-sharing applications still remains, particularly on the user experience of browsing within picture categories. Picture tags or keywords are wildly used by most image-sharing applications to realize browsing within picture categories. In this way feedbacks are poorly associated with impressions, such as the style or hue of a picture.This thesis trys to address the above issues with designing and implementing a prototype system of socail image-sharing mobile application which contains a picture recommending service to feed back pictures based on the style or hue of a picture the user is browsing.The main application research content in this thesis is as follows: Study on similar images recognition technology. The point is to find out the applicative feature extraction algorithms by study their theory and discuss their performance, and devise an evaluation process for those algorithms; Discuss on cloud computing in different aspects of this technology that applied to engineering. The point is to find out the applicative technical scheme for the prototype system; Study on key issues like the method of picture recommendation and its applicative category of pictures. That means a large amount of experimental studies with pictures data set and came out with the design of picture recommendation pattern and correlative mechanisms; Designing and implementing a prototype system of socail image-sharing mobile application, test it by simulate the manipulations of a user and evaluate its performance by compare it with some popular and similar products.This thesis is based on the market trends and demands, design and implement an image-sharing prototype system which humanizes some brand new user experiences. The thesis involves the use of advanced techniques, many experimental studies and demonstrations for the application study, and consideration to technical feasibility. This thesis have reference value for the engineering implementation of similar systems, and so do the further application studies.
