Virtual reality technology is often used by the real estate companies to build real estate information display platform. By this means, the costs can be saved and sales be promoted in today’s fierce market economy.The present display platform is too trivial.Meanwhile, the complicated procedure involved in the human-computer interaction reduces the efficiency of the salesman and hinders the potential customer in searching for related information about the property. All this results in no less investment than the entity model display mode.To solve the problem, a brand-new display system based on virtual reality technology has to be developed.With this kind of system,the comprehensive platform for the virtual property information display can reduce the red tape of human-computer interaction to form a simple interaction design. The virtual information display intuitive employed by the property developers can accurately convey sales information platform, save manpower and material resources and improve sales efficiency. At the same time,the interactive operation can provide a lot of fun customers are always attracted by roaming in the virtual space experience to strengthen the awareness of building information. In this way,the efficiency of the real estate sales will be improved.This dissertation focuses on the development of the system mentioned above, expounding the design and realization of related software. It begins with an introduction of the theory and functions of the system as well as the core technologies it involves. In this dissertation,the 3 d roaming is to be implement with VRML tools and the interaction design and the interaction module production technology are to be completed through the use of VRP software.This system of the 3 d virtual roaming desktop display platform consists of five modules: autonomous roaming browsing, animation shows, surrounding environment module, traffic conditions, and sample houses.When designing the system, emphasis is put on two aspects: the interaction interface and the roaming display of the whole real estate and sample houses. The visual identity and interactive functions are designed for the interaction interface.The analysis of the basic functional requirements, accessibility needs, interactive virtual display design will greatly distribute to the implementation of the virtual display platform. Finally, this thesis tests the display platform from such perspectives as the interactive function, interactive practice, interactive versatility, convenient operation for roaming, comprehensive information. Along with the testing,this thesis states the significances to verify the implementation of the three-dimensional virtual reality roaming housing display platform are as following: its interactive features can meet the needs of real estate sales and the interface with a good guide for operation can easily be recognized. In this way, the virtual personal experience brought by the autonomous roaming browsing and the comprehensive information will certainly result in the sales promotion and cost saving.
