Along with social progress, scientific development, people have increasingly high medical standards requirement. And the development of modern medicine, inseparable from the support of image processing technology. Radiation Oncology as a branch of medicine, its technological development has also become more and more mature. Dubais, Sichuan Tong company focusing on software development for medical radiotherapy of tumor, tumor radiotherapy equipment for a variety of ARES2 DPlan radiation oncology system was developed. ARES2 DPlan system primarily through acquisition CT images, and collected images to do a series of analysis and processing, and automatically calculated through analysis of tumor shapes and sizes calculated measurement values required for the tumour radiotherapy. This article against ARES2 DPlan radiation oncology system for detailed introduction. The contents of this paper are as follows:1. ARES2 DPlan automatic radiation oncology system first introduced the background of the development.2. study of digital image processing technology and its main methods such as image filtering, image fusion, graphic stitching algorithm for degree study.3. software describes the framework as a whole.4. systems design and implementation of functional modules, serial port function module such as image processing, database design, functional design. And module technology to do a detailed study and presentation. After validation, this system in West China hospital, Oncology, radiotherapy and for the function module can be up and running. The system provided to medical personnel on radiation operations much easier.
