In recent years, as the rapid economic development of China, a number of industries, especially the steel industry has rapid development, sampling and sample preparation and testing has become increasingly onerous task. Today, in the increasingly competitive steel industry environment, the management of the raw materials such as iron ore and coal has a very important strategic significance for the steel plant. The consumption of the raw materials directly affects the investment costs and economic benefits of the steel plant. In the domestic steel industry, it has been an open secret in the industry for a long time that iron ore adulterates. The suppliers adulterate the mineral dust, and buy off the quality control personnel on duty, then they can easily get away. In recent years, some steel plants have shut down because of the quality of raw materials, which result in great economic losses.In order to put an end to the phenomenon in the steel plant that adulteration and the favoritism of the quality control personnel in the quality control links, this paper combined the actual needs and the development of the testing of mineral dust of the steel plant, made it come true that combined the remote automatic random sampling, sample preparation, testing with the date of the quality and the measurement seamlessly, by studying the process of the sampling and quality testing of the mineral dust, and attained the transparency, centralized, remote, intelligent and incorruption of the testing, which is called automatic sampling system of the mineral dust.In this thesis, the automatic sampling system of the mineral dust using double sampling head to control completely independent, a sampler can fetch two different materials, which prevents the mixing of different materials. It can complete vehicle positioning automatically by ultrasonic sensing technique, select sampling points randomly, automatic sampling, automatic splitting, collect samples automatically, without human factors. The samples taken are typical, and can accurately reflect the quality of the samples that imported the plant. As important raw materials of the blast furnace production, if used mineral dust or coal of poor quality, it can lead to the quality dissatisfaction of the melted iron, and also affect the service life of the blast furnace, which could make huge loss of economy and reputation to the plant. So, in order to use the qualified materials, and obtain the maximum production, and make the blast furnace in a safe and economical operation of the state, it is essential to test the quality of raw materials rigorously to prevent the cheating and adulteration of human factors, so that the condition of blast furnace could be the best.The automatic sampling system software of the mineral dust in this article solves the above problems perfectly with its features of transparency, remote and intelligent, which make iron and steel enterprise achieve the maximize economic benefit with the lowest cost in the selection of raw material, while also improve the quality of production and reputation of the enterprise.
