Design And Implementation Of Hotel Management System Based On J2EE

The paper aims to expatiate on the building of a system for the amenities center, the China Hall of Science and Technology, based on a typical three-tier J2 EE web framework, backed up by the computer network technology. The system fulfills all the routine work of the hall, meanwhile, uses IT techs to improve the operational efficiency, service levels, and entertaining performance, thus saves much of work forces.The paper studies the user requirements of the amenities management, and correspondingly breaks down the requirements into five major parts: system management, reservation management, operational management, accounting management, and executive portal management. Thereby, the amenities management system helps realize the teamwork efficiency,improve the amenities turnover rate. The embedded DSS tool can effectively and efficiently analyze the operating status and the customer profiling and segment, thus strengthen micro-inference, macro-control, and decision support power. Due to diversification and specialization, the Chinese food catering process is very difficult to be standardized. However, the amenities management system pulls through the standardization of Chinese-Western dinner reservation workflows, relieves the holiday peak pressure, and improves the response time of personalized customer services. The management system can not only quickly improve the efficiency of the hall, but also enhance the overall QoS as the core competence and productivity.The system thoroughly analyzes the business requirements and prepares the HLD and LLD. The system implements every committed module, using a three-tier J2 EE web framework and Oracle 11 g, within budgets and ahead of time.The system goes through a comprehensive unit test, integration test, performance test, and UAT, and after that makes adjustments according to the test feedback. Finally, the paper summarizes the whole development process, the to-do feature lists, and the following development objectives, to ensure the success of the system.
