The Research And Implementation Of TCM Constitution Identification System

With the substantial increase of the living standard in recent years, people are paying more and more attention to the health problem, which makes TCM constitution preservation unprecedentedly popular. In 2009, China Association of Chinese Medicine issued the national standard of Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Classification and Judgment, and vigorously promoted and implemented it in each hospital of traditional Chinese medicine all over the country. TCM constitution theory highlights that constitution can be classified, body diseases are related and constitution can be adjusted, elaborating the guiding significance of constitution on personal health preservation. Under this great background, this research has designed a set of TCM constitution identification system based on B/S model, bringing convenience to hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine in carrying out constitution projects.This system first records the basic information of patients and the information about patients’ living habits, then uses the algorithm of constitution classification to identify the constitution of patients based on the answers to the TCM constitution classification standard questionnaire. Then it generates the TCM constitution preservation report for patients by selecting the health preservation guidance program preset in the system and the personalized guidance of doctors. This system will greatly improve the efficiency of constitution identification, and the application of this system plays an important role in promoting the constitution identification service in hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine.With regard to the research and design of this system, this paper first discusses the research background and research significance of the topic, then introduces the background and current status of constitution classification identification, the nine types of constitution and similar products in China. Second, the related technology that can be used in the development process is introduced briefly, the feasibility analysis and business logic analysis of the system is conducted and the entire frame diagram of the system is drawn. Meanwhile, the required data of this system is studied, and the structure and function of the main data table is given in the design of database. Finally, the paper makes a detailed discussion on the design process of the main component modules including the landing module, the basic information module, the constitution identification module, the report generation module and the search and statistics module. This paper gives the effect drawing for the operation of part of the system, discusses the main work and the characteristics of the system, and specifies the shortcomings of this system and some aspects that can be further improved.At present, TCM constitution identification system has been successfully developed and installed in two hospitals, the system has reached the prospected objective in both function and demand, providing strong support for the implementation of the TCM constitution identification project.
