For the testing of reconnaissance equipments, multi signal environment under different tactical backgrounds and experimental conditions are required to simulate. The difficulty lies in the fidelity of simulation environment. Besides, high density complex multi signal environment with the following properties: instantaneous wideband signals, controllable time slots, controllable frequency, multiply signal styles, is required to generate.To adapt to future testing and verification of electronic warfare equipments, it is crucial to carry out researches on intercept, analysis, recognition for communication signal, navigation system signal, IFF system signal and data link signal in complex electromagnetic signal environment as well as differentiation of opponent signal with background signal.With the constant improvement of electronic warfare equipments in abilities of reconnaissance and interception, fast interception, differentiation of high resolution signal, it is required to simulate the complex CNI signals with the following properties instantaneous wideband signals, controllable time slots, controllable frequency, multiply signal styles in different tactical background and experimental conditions. Using real radio stations to simulate battlefield signals not only wastes considerable money and resources, but also cannot meet the requirements for the testing of new equipments. Besides, using standard testing instruments to test the performance of equipments is hardly to satisfy the testing requirements of ever-complicating electronic warfare equipments because the tested subjects are secretive, non-standard, and the low specified, solidified, easy-operating, integrated standard testing devices.Base on the extensive collection of domestic and foreign satellite communication signals, tactical communication signals, data link signals, navigation signals and IFF signals, the thesis makes substantial analysis on the signal types, time-frequency properties, micro features as well as generation methods. Then according to the multi-systems, outburst, time slot of complex background signals, the thesis proposes the overall design scheme of complex CNI signal environment simulator based on hardware platforms, software configurability with the consideration of complexity, applicability.Afterwards, the thesis gives a comprehensive description of mapping mode from the aspect of signal space for more than 20 slot controllable and frequency adjustable modulated signals, including analog modulation, PSK modulation, QAM modulation, CPM Modulation, APSK modulation and FSK modulation. Integrated with slot allocation, multi-rate modulation structures, the thesis optimizes the design of multi-rate modules with the consideration of system miniaturization and stability. Besides, the thesis simulates the big dynamic range focused by multi-signal environment, and evaluates FPGA resources consumption. The thesis provides references for the design of baseband boards.Furthermore, the thesis also describes the design of waveform processing modules in hardware systems, and focuses on the analysis of choosing target devices and hardware structures.In the end, the thesis demonstrates system testing connectivity and the testing results of analogy modulation TD testing graphs, FD testing graphs, digital modulation constellation testing graphs, EVM testing values and TD/FD testing results of complex multi-signals.
